To donate non-perishable food and other grocery items:
Food donations may be dropped off at the Food Bank during our regular business hours. We would enjoy thanking you in person. Otherwise, you may make donations at any time using our outside bin.
Special Dietary Needs:If you wish to donate foods that will specifically benefit those with food
allergies, diabetes, and other types of conditions requiring dietary
restrictions, click here for a guide to the stores in our area which
carry such products, and a list of the products they currently carry. Thank you
so much for your contributions to this worthy effort !
Ashland Food Project
Another convenient and easy way to donate non-perishable food and other grocery items to AEFB is through the Ashland Food Project or “AFP”. When you sign up, you receive a green AFP bag. Each time you go shopping, you buy an extra non-perishable food item and store it in the green bag. On the 2nd Saturday of every even-numbered month, a neighborhood volunteer will pick up the bag, replace it with an empty one and bring your donation directly to the Food Bank.
Over 2010 Ashland residents have now joined AFP. Won’t you give it a try? To learn more or to sign up, just go to www.ashlandfoodproject.org.
